In this June, City of Tomakomai and Tomakomai Tourism Association joined the Hokkaido MICE Promotion Committee. 

Now the committee has 8 member cities and Hokkaido.

Tomakomai is a double-port city closely located to the New Chitose International Airport, which is the sky gateway of Hokkaido, and it also has the sea gateway, Tomakomai Port. 

Tomakomai is also known as one of the biggest industrial area in Japan, while positioning the international resort concept in the city’s growth strategy.
